Andy Walker, a native of Phoenix,
Arizona, grew up playing all sports. Andy was an All-American
junior, high school, and collegiate golfer. In his career
spanning two decades, he has won over 150 tournaments –
highlighted by three collegiate wins and over 18 professional
victories. Andy’s
biggest thrills in golf include winning the 1997 NCAA
Championship while at Pepperdine University and becoming a
member of the Nationwide Tour. A teacher who not only knows the
swing but as a tour player (2004-2005 Grey Goose/Gateway Tour),
Andy specializes in teaching students effective tournament
preparation as well as teaching valuable techniques for better
scoring.
In 2005, Andy had won 10
professional golf tournaments. During the Grey Goose Gateway
Tour, he came from 3 shots back and carded a final round 64 to
shoot a total of 21 under and won by 3 shots. Andy finished
third at the Grey Goose Gateway Tour Championship, which is
quite an accomplishment.
February 2006, Andy finished
second in a Grey Goose Gateway Tour event shooting 13 under par
(67-69-67).
